This evening, according to reports, about half of the Gaza Strip was blacked out. Reports state that three of the four turbines are no longer working due to a closure of the Nahal Oz fuel depot. Israeli security sources stated that the closure was a result of a security threat. Rafiq Maliha director of the Gaza electric company said that Israel is responsible. As a manager of the only power plant in the strip I would like to ask Mr Maliha why he left the fuel supply run out before speaking to the press? Also, what does Mr Ismail Hania, the ruler of Gaza, have to say to those Palestinians whom are sitting in darkness because he refuses to recognise his own neighbours and his responsibility toward the Gazan population.
